Motivation:
Methods for the application of functional information system cannot be easily adopted for process-oriented information systems. Process-oriented information systems are based on processes and not on functions. This aspect is considered to have an important impact on the evaluation, introduction, and application of an information system.

The objectives of the project are:
The aim of the project is to develop a method to support the evaluation of the processes, the conception, and the application of the information system. The method has three main lines: analyzing and modeling the process, using process-oriented software, with the capacity to implement the workflow, and finally implementing the software for regular use by participation in project management.

Results of the project:
The results of the project are:

• A methodology for process analysis and design in companies with the objective to shift to a more process oriented company
• A guideline for configuration and implementation of process oriented ERP-software
• An instrument for analysis and evaluation of implementation processes in order to identify weaknesses and need for further improvement
